Kalamazoo is really out here asking the hard-hitting questions!! But seriously, don’t let this prompt throw you. As with all oddball prompts, admissions is just getting creative in how they ask you to share more about who you are. If you find yourself struggling to generate ideas, instead think of what you want admissions to know about you—then work backward from there. Maybe you want admissions to know about the zine you’re creating with your friends, so your computer talks about all the Google doc drafts you have open. Or, perhaps, you want admissions to know about your sense of community, so your phone shares all of your group chats and calendar invites. Don’t overthink it; give yourself ample time to brainstorm and reveal something new about yourself to the admissions department at Kalamazoo.
