Salwa Meghjee is a playwright living in New York City. She earned a BA in English from UC Berkeley, an MFA in Writing for the Screen and Stage from Northwestern University, is pursuing an Artist Diploma in Playwriting at The Juilliard School, and hopefully will never stop earning degrees. Interested in creating within many disciplines, Salwa has written a number of plays, short films, pilots, articles, mental health resources, and odes to her cats. She’s taught writing to students of all ages, and loves to show everyone the power that they hold with just their own words.
Salwa’s college essay was about her quest to figure out which Hogwarts house she belongs to. She has not figured it out yet.
