The Year In Review: Personal Statement Success and More

Ivy Divider

personal statement you did itWow. You are awesome. Before you start making New Years resolutions, take a moment to look back at all of your 2015 accomplishments. We’re serious. Get out a notebook at make a list: the best of you, year-in-review. Here, we’ll get you started:

  • I completed applications to [pick a number] colleges!
  • I balanced my school work, extracurriculars, AND the entire application process.
  • I wrote thousands of carefully crafted words for my college essays.
  • I SURVIVED!
  • (Now you keep going…)

After all of those college apps, you might be a little tired of self-congratulation, but trust us, this activity is worth it – especially if you’re feeling burned out. Then, after you’re done making your list, consider taking a moment to tell us what you think WE did well in 2015. Take our quick 10 question survey to have an impact on the future of the CEA newsletter. And if you’re still working on a few late-deadline essays, you should know that we’re taking requests and your suggestions might just become realities.

We always love to hear back from CEA subscribers and students, and we want to make sure that we are giving you the kinds of resources that you want and need. You talk and we’ll listen. So take this opportunity to share your thoughts before the survey closes!
