The questions for this college are not yet ready. Thank you for your patience as we finalize this section. In the meantime, you can work on the other sections of your application.
Mills has not yet released their application essay questions. For last year’s requirements, read below!
The Requirements: 1 essay of 250 words
Supplemental Essay Type(s): Activity
This prompt is probably one that you’ve seen before and will see again. When approaching this essay, we encourage you to think about your favorite things to do outside of the classroom. What brings you joy? If you had an extra hour in the week, what would you do with it? Maybe you would round up the kids in your neighborhood for a pick-up soccer game. Perhaps you would go to your uncle’s house to learn how to make his famous Tom yum goong. Maybe you would plant more vegetables in your garden and see if you could finally grow some finicky eggplant. No matter what it may be, identify that activity and then show admissions why it’s important to you. Why does it make you happy? What have you learned from it? Do you hope to continue this activity on campus next year? Offer the admissions department at Mills College some insight into what makes you tick and you’ll be sure to stand out.
